This page explains what personal data Flow Dance Bergen collects, why we collect it, and what rights you have.

Who is responsible
Flow Dance Bergen (org. no. 937505574) is the data controller for the data described here. If you have questions, write to us at kontakt@flowdancebergen.no.
What we collect and why
Event registration: your name, email and phone number, dance role, and anything else you give us when you register, such as experience and answers to questions. We use this to run the event, send you your ticket and practical information, and check you in. The basis is the agreement you make with us when you register.
Payment: order, amount and payment status. The payment itself takes place at Vipps, so we do not see your card or account details. The basis is our agreement with you and our duty to keep accounts.
Newsletter: your email address and the interests you choose. We use this to tell you about new events. The basis is your consent.
Feedback: the answers you give after an event. Name and email are optional. We use the answers to improve our events. The basis is our legitimate interest in improving.
Login: if you log in to the website, we process your email address and what is needed to keep you logged in.
How long we keep your data
We keep data for as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected for. Accounting records must be kept for five years under Norwegian bookkeeping law. We keep registrations after an event so that we can follow up and have an overview of past participants, but you can ask us to delete them. We delete your newsletter address when you unsubscribe.
Who processes data for us
We do not sell your data. We only share it with the suppliers we need to run the website and our events:
Vipps MobilePay (payment), Resend (sending email), Convex (database, stored in the EU), Vercel (website hosting) and WorkOS (login).
Some of these are American companies, so data may be processed in the USA. Such transfers must follow the data protection rules for transfers out of the EEA, for example the EU's standard contractual clauses.
Cookies
We do not use cookies for analytics or advertising. The website only uses what it needs to work, for example to keep you logged in.
Your rights
You have the right to see what data we hold about you, and to have it corrected or deleted. You can also ask us to restrict the processing, object to it, and take your data with you. You can withdraw consent at any time, and if you want to leave the newsletter, just send us an email.
Write to kontakt@flowdancebergen.no and we will reply as soon as we can, within one month at the latest.
If you think we handle your data incorrectly, you can complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority at datatilsynet.no.
